this and what hotrodder mentioned, the stresses this car will see if above and beyond a normal road car. You are very stupid to think your absolved from reponsibility just by "telling them" its not for road use

Agree with the comments about your 'think it's OK, as it has lasted for 3 races, or on the ROAD.'
I was in the aero business. There was always the thought in the back of one's mind, that if it ploughed in, one might be liable for a manslaughter charge.
So when one of our air-taxis did make a large hole on approach to landing at our airfield, I spent quite a while with a cloud over my head because I had rebuilt the whole of the rear end a couple of weeks before the accident. Reports take a couple of years to get out, but the CAA area surveyor kindly let me know that my work was not a factor in the case. (The pilot, a good friend, misjudged his altitude in misty conditions. And was too low, so hit a tree. Five dead.)
It still gives me the creeps after nearly 40 yrs ('73) so don't go there..... Even writing about it awakes demons
