Beech.

Alder goes orange when you fell it.

Sycamore is what I was going to say because it’s very straight grained but the larger ring has the wrong bark.

It’s always difficult from photos.

Beech would be heavier than sycamore but unless you’ve them side by side it’s difficult to tell. Is it quite a dense wood? Tightly ringed I mean.

Im rubbish at identifying trees.... but it does look quite a bit like the light colour but fairly dense wood of a tree I cut down in the back garden - which was a Eucalyptus.
(Mate had the wood for his fire, and said that while it took a bit to get going, but once burning it gave good heat and burned slowly) .

That looks like a big old willow, the main branches have a big rough open bark and the smaller branches are smooth

It's about 100 yards to the road so gotta wheel barrow the rest to footpath then road/car ...

Its definitely going to be a "beech" after you've lugged it 100 yards

lol I'm ruined now 8 wheelbarrow Fulls , how I managed to push the loaded. Barrow up the steep bank I don't know , well it was a lot slower heavier by load 4 . I reckon it's ash you know but will take some pics later when I get the last load . It's all by the road but there's only so much you can load in a dacia sandero

Ok close up , so is this ash ? I've had some cut logs last year from local sawmill and he said they were ash and this stuff looks similar but there was no bark on the logs so not 100 percent sure

Last one is willow just to confuse things !
