when using duel sheild i always pull (as it says on my current WPS) there is also a 3rd form of trancfer known as "globular" this ocurs between the dip & spray volt settings

you pull with flux cored (dual shield) push with solid and metal-cored

globular is mostly solid wire with 100% CO2....not as nice as Spray with Argon mix

I welded cell tower sections for a few yrs the gas for spray arc is 95/5 and it's hot no all position to it yourunning flat or forget it flux core now doing bout 240 amps 25.5 volts
