Amazon and Ebay tend to throw up some "interesting" dimensions, making purchasing a complete crapshoot.
If it's threaded, it might be 3/8 BSP: 15.806mm diameter x 1.337mm pitch, plus/minus manufacturing tolerances.
With BSP and NPT being very similar, particularly when measured with a school ruler, buying pneumatic and hydraulic components can become rather frustrating.
Most of the filler/breathers I've come across have either baffles or foam in them to separate out any oil mist and let it drip back into the crankcase. A plug with a breather hole won't do that.
