yes but if you check thy are private sellers and in the listing they say you dont get a receipt because i looked everywere to get the cheapest but i wanted a receipt so i went to local engweld

Yes, the going rate it seems is about £215 which usually includes 4 lenses (and a receipt!!)

Absolutely.
More importantly eng weld is a distributor with a good reputation and a point of contact if you have a problem.
An eBay listing could be anyone and in the event of a problem they could head for the hills.

Spoke to esab and eng weld are there no1 distributor apparently, i like my local eng weld nothing but good words to say

Hi. Can I ask a newbie question or two? Why are there different colour lenses? Yellow and clear? Do the lenses wear out - hence the need for replacements? How long do they last if so?

as far as im aware the yellow lens is a hd lens and more money i will just be buying the clear ones dont know how long they last for but the reviews say the lens are poor but i dont do enough welding to have an opion on the durability of them

The yellow lens is simply there to change the viewing colour so it really does depend on what you like to view. Personally I prefer the clear for a lighter blue view the yellow makes it more green. It also adds 1/2 a shade too so bear that in mind. I think they are as durable as any other I’ve used. The curve design reflects a lot of spatter so it cannot collect like flatter ones however there is no lip protection on them so avoid putting it face down on the bench or you’ll go through lenses quickly.

Hmm looking bac at my historical weld pictures I noted that these also appear to be when I had a decent mirrored Sureweld helmet which I was given, and replaced with a cheap one after. Currently using a Clarke one I got when 20% was off and it was reduces as real en don't wear metallic red (it was £10 cheaper than same in black before the discount).

Time to spend little to make life easier.

Now my old sureweld had a silvered / mirrored outer. I'm not seeing this on modern masks, was there a benefit?

Arrived, certainly looks well made and comfortable. Very thick manual for only 5 pages of English. 3 clear shields with it and one yellow fitted, and it's own little helmet bag and a cloth I don't know the reason for
8 memory settings That's a lot more than the seats in my M3 give!

Have to give it a go in anger at the weekend
