Personally id have gone with the Lincoln.
Going by the shape of it, the Esab looks to me like the lense is very easy to get all scratched up due to 1 it being curved, and 2 it not being "recessed" into the front of the mask. Although lots seem to be very happy with them.
I think a lot is a personal preference thing after a certain point

I've been using the Viking 3350 for a bit now and am very happy with it.

I have a 3350 and a SIP2300, I'm no pro welder mind you and I thought that the viking was better but that the SIP was still mighty fine for what it is, THEN my Viking died!!
I pulled out the SIP and hell, not only could I not see as well, the first couple of welds I did were rubbish, even by my standards Haha!
I suspect I'd just grown used to the Viking and a bit of adjustment was all the SIP needed but one thing I can say is that I can really see the difference between the tip of the tungsten and the puddle with the Viking and it's much harder to see with the SIP.
I supposed you get what you pay for....

I was thinking about the Viking 3350 recently, but as I need a strong magnification cheater lens, and they come in a 2"x4" size, I didn't think the slightly larger viewing area of the 3350 would be substantially beneficial; if that makes sense.

As three helmets in the Viking line have the 4C technology, I opted to get the Viking 1840 model which has a 2"x4" viewing area; the same size as the available cheater lenses.
