For years I have owned a second-hand gas setup which consists of a Saffire 3 torch with a cutting nozzle (I thought that it was only for cutting), and also a smaller BOC torch which takes the smallest swan neck nozzles, which believe are usually used by refrigeration and heating engineers (the threads are approx 5/6mm), and I have used this for all my brazing and small welding needs.
I also have some larger nozzles which are about 10mm at the threads, and also one rosebud nozzle, all of which I have never had the opportunity to use, as I thought I needed a whole different torch (I'm no expert as you may see). I only recently realised that I do have a "mixer" that fits the Saffire 3 torch, but which is even bigger than the largest nozzles I have. I think its about 13mm, and it says HD on it.
Can anyone plesae tell me, can I get a mixer to fit the Saffire 3 that will take the 10mm nozzles?
I have seen online that the large mixer I have seems to be a "Type 5".
I'm a bit lost with all of this, and I really would appreciate a little help.
