thanks for the answers and advice all you out there. Seems the inverterfusion could now be the way to go. Will make some calls on prices of the better spec model but I suspect it might be just out of reach unfortunately. Shame.Coz the 180 sounds harder wearing internally. I like the idea of supporting a brit company aswell. Has to be something said for that especially as their guarantee seems good too.

Thanks for all the advice. Thanks to weldequip for mentioning the better 180ma model. Seems it'll weld at 100% duty cycle at 160amp so won't be a problem at the 130 I'll be using it for. I think I'll have to swallow going over budget by 100 quid and build a case for it coz the only weak point that I can see for when it's in my van is the main control knobs but a case and some sponge will sort that no probs. Might aswell protect my investment . Found a dealer that had one in near dartford so went over and took a look. Real helpfull guy. Gonna make up some decent leads too so result all round. Had a very brief look at the standard 150 chinese stuff, which only go to 130, why not call it 130 then, but they were real light and only running 35% duty and not even at max amp, really pleased that I've done some homework and sought advice. EXCELLENT. THANKS.
