Well, much appreciate all the interest and comments from you helpful lot out there.
The only thing I couldn't get any comments on was "which one, the Phantom XL or the IFL XL-S"!
So, I've taken the plunge 5 minutes ago and ordered the Phantom XL. And if you lot start sending remarks about "Oh no, I wouldn't of picked that one", I'm not listenin'!!!
Can't wait to get me hands on (head in?) it now.

Good enough lid the Phantom XL. Lens is crisp and clear and bluish tint rather than green. Viewing area is large. Two downsides for me were internal controls and the shell itself was just like most standard helmets. These things are not a huge downside though and for the price it is an excellent choice.

No, all out of excuses now damn it!!
Specially as it arrived this morning. I couldn't believe how quick it was, and really well packed, now that's service!
I haven't had a chance to try it yet but I'm well pleased with the looks and feel.
