Wifi switch on an existing 2 way light system

I wanted to add a wifi switch to an existing 2 way light switch.

All over you tube they show you how to add 2 wifi switches with one receiver to create a 2 way switching system.

But no one shows how to add a wifi switch to an existing 2 way circuit.

My switches are marked common and L1 and L2.

Is it possible . To be honest if I can wire it so only the wifi switch turns the lights on and off as the one switch is hidden behind the fridge freezer, I would be happy.

I added a light fitting over our kitchen table last week, fished a cable from the boiler room through the suspended ceiling, put a sonoff basic switch on it for testing and put a plug on the other end. Original plan to wire it in properly when I add the switch and the two way with a different sonoff.

But if I can say "Alexa table on/off" there's no need for a physical switch at all. If network is down that means power is down so I can't turn the light on anyway, if alexa is moody the sonoff has a button that turns it on. So it's staying as it is.

I interpreted it as a single switch but it can be 2 way. I can't quite work out how the 2 way works with the wireless switches so just did it with one of the many sonoffs I have. They do make wifi built in switches so subject to price it'd be easy to just swap a 1 way switched light to a wireless switch and leave it behind the fridge freezer anyway.

Where's the other switch in the circuit?

The smart switches all seem to need a neutral so you can't stick one there.

Or swap the bulb for something wifi controllable e.g. not tried them myself!

What's common then? I think a kinetic switch will work. But I don't have one.

No both switches are the same.

Wireless spdt light switch

I want to replace this switch with a wireless solution, it's part of a two way circuit which but I can't change the the other switch as it's part of a 3 gang switch in the house. Quinetic don't seem to have a solution for this, where you only want a simple spdt switch. Any thoughts.

No battery. I use one in my workshop. Just wire it into the circuit & job done.

We’ve got tapo ones in the kids bedrooms, they work ok actually.

Edit - the bonus being that you can leave existing wiring as is, and it will still work as the existing light if you use switches - so if no WiFi it just works exactly as before!
