Glad you got it working.
unless you have the covers off already you could check for gas leaks without taking the covers off. connect hose to your welder, turn gas on then off so you have gas in the hose. Spray some water on bottle /regulator connections,if these are ok and gas pressure does not drop then there should be no leaks? Would save you pulling it apart again
