I've been using Oxfords for 40 years but I'm no expert. They could be purchased with either 240, 415, or both primary windings. The best results on your set on a 240v supply will be across the 0 and 400 terminals (earth on centre pin). Even on 80volt secondary it will be less than satisfactory I'm afraid. Your best option as Simon says will be a large step up transformer, which will probably cost more than the welder! W/A
