Went to work today after scraping ice off the trucks..vest,2 T-shirts and a hoodie, by 10.30 everything was off and working in a single T-shirt in the sun. BBC news tonight i should of feared for my life it was that cold apparently

I not been cold today in vest/tshirt/sweatshirt and bodywarmer.
Tommoro - I "tech up" - thicker wool socks - add thermal long sleeve top - and thermal bottoms under trousers. Got a lot of standing about jobs to do tommoro.
One thing is: If you get too hot - you can always take extra layers off.

Watching a programme today about an airport in Alaska, one chap was changing an engine on a DC3 outside, he commented "it's a nice day today, only -10°C I don't even need to wear gloves"

Another reason i never felt the cold today was i was in a foul mood..2 of the lads stood in dog sh1te and it was all over the ladders,i then got it all over my hands
Why cant people pick up dog turds from there gardens,more so when they are expecting workmen

Supprisingly most of customers are working with me on "by 4pm car collections".
Gave a few customers the "we not heating workshop due to cost - so not putting the labour rate up".

We're at Loch Tay weekend after next for a 50th birthday and the girls are going to a sauna on the loch that then has "dooks" into the loch.
All sounds very awesome except the low is going to be -7C and the high is going to be -3C.
I've told her there may be no dooking if the loch is frozen. Far from my idea of a good time...
