Cut up the alloy jaws and the Delrin with a bandsaw. The reason the alloy jaws are a tad wide is that's the stock I had. Also I didn't want to shave 5mm off a nice parallel face and I wanted to keep the Delrin as wide as possible too. Obviously both pairs of jaws have to meet at about the same time....

Aye but you still need to make the tooling.
Finally got my baby flypress bolted down and working. Made short work pushing siezed pins out of the arbour press

The only reason I didn't go higher bidding for that arbor press is that my workshop is already dominated by a Norton DB6. I couldn't justify the additional space requirements due to the relatively small benefit in additional functionality of an arbor press. Would have made a great buy-to-sell but I already have enough of those. Would b interesting to know how much one of these is worth once you've got it up an running. My guess is, if someone needs one, they'd pay the earth for it...

Not sure what I'm going to do with it yet.
It's on a dolly now and il pull it outside and prep it for paint today if I get a chance.
Don't see many of them about. Plenty of single action.
