Totally agree with what your saying, but I don't really need a water cooler for what I do, it allot of short runs and I only cook the torch on ac, but still it motorsport stuff so not welding tractor together here lol. If I was a general welding shop then you would be on the money. Only reason I wanted a water cooler was for some micro torches for impossible to get places as air cooled/gas cooled micro is like 90 amps max, and the water cooled version is 125amps..

I weld a lot of 2T exhausts, sometimes 30 or 40 a day, around 40 amps on the pedal. When you're hauling ass a CK9 gets bloody hot, a WP20 is lovely to use, let alone when you start getting up above 100A on AC
