I've recently done a load of work on an MG TD, and experienced the asking prices for parts. I reckon that using any XPAG mechanical components on a machine build counts as a statement of wealth like lighting your cigars with a £50 note!
Seriously though, if you can get the roller die rotation speed down to about 4 or 5 RPM, you should find control of the panel as it's going past the dies to be no problem.
Yeh well you're right about xpag prices, but the cam sprocket was well worn, to the point of being scrap.
