Ok thanks I will check it by the way how do u get rid off the rust from the tight corners? Do you dissolve it or do u use rust converter? I'm trying to remove it with sand paper and its going ok but it takes ages.
Blasting is better than wire brushes. If you can't get one of those spot blasters (20 quid from Machine Mart) in there I have resorted to decarb wire brushes in a drill and citric acid soaked kitchen towels.
My experience of rust converters is that they were a waste of time and money.
I wouldn't bother with a spot blasting gun. If you have at least a 3hp compressor get a pressure pot from ebay. Fit a 2.5mm tungsten carbide blast nozzle and get some j-blast supafine blast media.
With this setup you can just blast the suspension components which will remove any paint/rust and also abrade the surface correctly to accept epoxy primer.
You can even build a DIY blast cabinet and efficiently recycle the blast media.[/quote ]yea coarse sieve it and fine sieve it .u can use it twice then its just dust
yea they get there EVENTUALYA quick update I did buy a spot blast kit from machine mart yesterday and I tried it today. It was cheap £18 and it does it job although the nozzle is bulky and the recycle bag is already torn but thanks for the help.

That's one of the pictures I've taken while spot sand blasting.
With 80-150 grid sand paper?
