pretty much any pressure switch should do, it'll only be switching a tiny bit of current to drive a relay for the clutch
I don't know, but I guess a little one way valve after the compressor could be good too ?
Ive been slowly building up the bits to install on board air on my pajero. Im going to try using the AC pump and a converted gas cylinder as the air tank. I've got a 120psi cut off switch, 150psi pressure release valve and an inline oiler for the inlet.I think im going to use push fit 10mm air line to run outlets at the front and rear.
Don't forget that any oil sucked in will be blown out - not ideal if you're inflating tyres with it. You may need a filter on the output.
Any space under the bonnet for an old lorry air compressor?
is that a solder fitting
The ones I have worked on have all been engine driven, belt drive or fitted into the timing chest, loads of air without a silly little electric motor flattering the battery.how do lorry air compressors work? Electric?
