It's standard practice in many commercial workshops seperate lift under 4 wheels to place it on stands then walk under, they service and build trains like that too, lift them with a crane and place on stands.

They do similar with aircraft too. Combined tripod jacks/stands, lift them up to clear the landing gear then raise and lower the gear to test it/replace it.

I was considering it but the car needs to be driven up them ramps. I had the idea to fit a winch to the end and winch a car up
And if you look close they are narrower than mine are yes joined across, which mine can be and will be at times when needed for the jacking beam.

stands originally for demountable truck bodies, front wheels off to get the balance point with extension forks...
