Is this you?I've bought a couple of these for general use in the workshop. I like the sensor so you can wave your hand to turn it on and off, saves covering your head with muck or having to remove gloves etc.
I bought two as I tend to lose at least one immediately, but if I can find both, it will cover a full day in the workshop without recharging. They're less than 20 quid each, not as bright as a Lenser but good enough for my ageing eyes.

Amazing what can be done in the twenty third century with an air filter.
Gotta say I wouldn't want another petzyl even if they were giving them away.I'm another who likes Petzl, my favourite is an old style turn the bezel to switch on and off, and to focus. It also uses a 4.5V battery, and with an led bulb the battery lasts ages.
I have had several Petzels over the years, the last one the plastic cracked, looked on the web & there were several complaints about this, emailed Petzel & fair enough they replaced it. Then the batteries drained as you say over a period of a week or so, so when you wanted it, it didn’t work. The older ones were waterproof with an o ring seal, the newer offering unsealed, a step back in my opinion, so I bought a Black Diamond & so far seems far better made & fully waterproof, time will tell!Once the batteries are not in tip top shape the leds don't go out completely.
So it was another pile of steaming that had to have the remove the batteries after using.
The wide knicker elastic band was pretty poor, think I used it for a few months and all the elasticness had gone.
Do you have the Twin, or Triple lens version,I have got a pair of these Energizer torches. I've had them some time, nothing very special but reasonable value for money and generally adequate for my needs
Another vote for Unilite. I have one of their Li-Ion rechargeable head torches (USB-C cable) - 3 light intensity levels and it's great. No more running out of batteries, or breaking poorly-designed battery holding mechanisms, it jut goes ages between recharges and is as sturdy as you like. I'd never go back to a battery head torch now. Full power is almost always too bright, the only time I've used it is when searching for my cat in the dark.

I can't fault it...At that price I really am tempted!
I just discounted led lensers...lol. Some people are paid too much....For £80 I would be terrified of using it......
Looks the business though

Don't know about that. Contacting the manufacturer would be the obvious step. Li-Ion batteris do tend to outlast NiCad and NiMh by quite a margin though. With the pace of change in LED/Li-Ion technology by the time you need to replace it, it will be half the price and twice the power. It says "pivoting head", can you get it without as I've already got one of those...
Is the lipo battery replaceable?
