?? I would say every diy compressor will give 100psi mine goes to 160 psi all dayMost DIY compressors aren't capable of supplying that pressure and volume though so it's not going to be the airlines or fittings holding you back.
I have a half inch airline. What's pclsthat airline will never run a 1" gun btw my snap on 3/4 gun needs 1/2 " line and 100 series pcl's to get any sort of power
the QR fittings on the compressor this is normalI have a half inch airline. What's pcls

also even though you have a 1/2"dia air line the 1/4 bsp pcl fittings are roughly less than a 1/4 of the dia, so the airline is immediately restricted to 1/4" before any air gets into the pipeline!! then you have in total two pcls to get through.Right.. understand now.thanks for the information.
it will------ till the tank pressure drops to the pressure that will not support 45 cfm ---- it is the instant flow that is required to break nuts free with an impact gun.Not at 45cfm.
Thanks JimI don't think you will get 45cfm out of a hobby compressor at any point, due to the size of the regulators and fittings they use, and even if you could, the relatively small tank size is going to cause a rapid loss of pressure that the small motor can't hope to overcome. The only answer is a large receiver and bigger diameter pipe and fittings, then wait for pressure to build again once it drops blow the point the gun stops working efficiently.
If you read the earlier posts that is what most people have been saying from the get go.due to the size of the regulators and fittings they use, and even if you could, the relatively small tank size is going to cause a rapid loss of pressure that the small motor can't hope to overcome.
No mate all you will need is a fitting direct off the end of the tank/ receiver, use 100 series female and a large dia air line, it will do the job it will just need time, also if you have only 1ph, the next step would be an engine powered comp. but they bring other problems to the partyOK. So technically I have fked up . Well I have paid for the gun so I will wait until it arrives and see what I can do with what I have got. A bigger compressor would be better. But only have 13 amp supply here. If it doesn't work then I have a inch drive breaker bar and impact sockets .
OK awesome.. am I still safe to connect and disconect even thoe I am running off the end of the tank. Just dubious about air equipment. And like to understand all that could a can go wrong .No mate all you will need is a fitting direct off the end of the tank/ res, use 100 series female and a large dia air line, it will do the job it will just need time, also if you have only 1ph, the next step would be an engine powered comp. but they bring other problems to the party
the thing to do is crack the first nut but dont run it off, wait a second or two ONLY if the pump is running ,then crack the next nut, and so on, you will find it will only crack them at near max pressure leave all the running off of the nuts to do easily because they are now slackish and with the compressor running it will hopefully keeping pace with the gun, as I say a second class ride is better than a first class walk .
let the gun do the work.
Even a 25cfm compressor will run out of breath on a 1" gun !!
I have seen mobile truck tyre fitters allways having to wait for the diesel compressor----
