Cheers, taken on board but i cant really see an issue as the manual is not an item normally for sale, infact its that old its collectable!Just be aware of any copyright issues
it can only promote their product with some owners buying spares now they have part no's,
Of course i could be totally wrong here???

Hi ive been trying to get info for this welder for ages.Ive tried snap on for parts no chance.Your lucky to get the manuals when i bought mine i no info for the welder.If u can get them scaned id pay for a copy of both manuals.I bet loads of other people would to.I need an parts diagram for both the welder and torch if u can just post them?Thanks

I'm the same Wayne, I've tried Lincoln, Murex and ESAB but no joy. Arcos Lincoln seems to be an office in London that hasn't traded for a long time. I'd gladly pay for a copy of the manual and parts list/ diagram. Terry

What with my day job, callout for work, couple of private welding jobs and trying to get my own car ready for a car show you could say i'm a bit busy!

I have just put my machine in for repair so a copy of that may be handy if they give me any b/s about repairs. I have had mine for twenty years and used it on loads of restos. Great machine.

Hi just been reading some of the info[Thanks chevy2].Wire size says .6-.8 but my tip is 1mm .I had one of these welders which i bought new but got nicked but i thought it used 1mm wire.i still had a new tip from that welder and it as 1mm on it.Ive just aquired a beat up mig for free so i bought 1mm wire tried it but wouldnt feed right.This would explain wire feed prob.The tip on this beat up welder is also 1mm. Can u use 0.8 with a 1.0 tip?As any body found new feed rollers for sale any where?Thanks

These migs are for .6 & .8mm wire only,
Take no notice of the fact it came with a 1.0mm tip,
I can still remember that mine came with a 1.2mm tip!
Use a .6 or .8 tip depending on what wire you use.

Judging by the pics here, this looks to be the same torch as the one that came as standard on my Esab Compact 125.
If anyone needs any bits for them (apart from tips!) I have a couple of old ones kicking about in the garage.
The torch is now obsolete, and tips are no longer available so I upgraded to a Parweld jobbie, but if you have a box of spare tips there may be some parts that you could salvage.

Thanks chevy2 for taking the trouble to reproduce the manuals, I can't thank you enough. Could I just ask for 2 more bits of information please.
On page 6 it refers to table 1 on page 4, is it possible to show us this please. Also could I ask if there is a telephone number or address on the manual that we could contact to enquire about spare parts. Thanks again, Terry

Unfortunately page 4 is the blank side of the back of 3!
The manual goes straight from 3-5,
Theres also not cantact details for arcos lincoln whatsoever in the manual,
Quite topical as although i've had this mig since 85 and more than earned its keep it does not see a lot use nowadays but today had to make a couple of basic gallows brackets for work,
Heres the old pensioner.
This is today on 40x5mm angle with zero preweld cleaning,
On power level 6, wire speed 7, 0.6mm wire, should be .8mm but couldn't be bothered for one job,
One thing i like about this mig is how the wire speed automatically increases as you up the amps, so once the wire speed is set it stays pretty much the same for all power levels,
I find wire speed 7 for .6 wire and wire speed 5.5 for .8 wire.
