Because if they are stolen - your on the hook now for handling stolen goods

Put the book away Mr F. No body knows for sure where things really come from despite what sellers tell you.
The same thing applies for everything used you buy. The question I was asking why assume that particular listing is nicked. His feedback and knowledge about the parts was good enough for me. They are untested items so as far as I'm concerned spares or repairs so there value is sweet FA at the moment

I can't see what suggests that they are stolen? The average scrote wouldn't have a clue what they were.

If they are spares or repairs Mr f then they are not sold below value. They have no or little value while not working/incomplete. Your jumping to conclusions and have no clue about the transaction because you didn't buy them. I bought them and happy they are what they are. We strike bargains every day does that mean they are all nicked?
Like I say get down off the high and mighty box it's not needed. The gear I bought to the very best of my judgement is legit. Like I say with all used/spares/repairs stuff we all buy, there is always that risk.

The seller didn't have a clue...suggesting factory labourer looking to make a few extra notes on the side lifting stuff from stores...
Mislisted a mig torch as a "welder cable needing a different end"
2 pedals minus cables and anyone with half a brain would have googled the model numbers

To me it smells rotten, then again I used to live in area where it went on, boys boosting their pay packet by lifting stuff from work to sell down the pub...except now its moved to ebay etc...

English was his 3rd language. He knew what they were when I saw him today. Seriously if you haven't anything positive to add then don't. Your making accusations based on a 4 line advert. Go away.

I'm stating the truth,

Your not saying the truth your looking for a reason to sound big and clever with the whole law and order bo###oks and it's making you sound stupid. Yes use the ignore button please and bother someone else with it. My workshop is as legit as they come and I won't have anything to do with illegal or stolen stuff. Let em come have a look I have nothing to hide from no one. I bought in good faith and happy with the items and where they came from. If my word isn't good enough then bother someone with your box.

Lads, its getting to be nearly every week that two or three members get their knickers in a twist then **** and winge at each other like an old married couple.
It's getting reallllly dull. There's other's at it too.

Can you think about what you post. If it is not constructive then don't post it. Simple.

Find another forum if it's that hard, we're sick of it and it's boring everyone else too.
