As others have said, these are going to be a nightmare to clean with all those ridges. I can't think of an automatic cleaning nozzle that would clean them thoroughly without soaking the toilet floor or any poor sod using the urinal at the wrong time.

The insides of these things are amazingly smooth and free from dirt traps. The swages aren't that deep and both top/bottom are smooth bowls with a generous radius to the sides. The top and bottom external handles and feet are welded externally to the smooth, egg shaped body. There are no internal joins.
If it's good enough to hold beer on the way in, it should be good enough to hold it on the way out!

If you've ever used one of them whilst wearing shorts you become immensely aware of how much splashback you get from using one...
If you've never had to clean up after the general public, then you won't be aware of just how much mess they can make - never mind slightly happy people in a pub! Its not just the liquid in this situation - the small droplets land and dry - they soon build up a quite horrible layer that needs some serious cleaning to shift - think of the solid layers you see sat in/on stainless trays you often see in industrial/factory loos.
