Especially before the commission for the spares is starting to generate income
some freebies would be nice lolMr Migwire and me really need to get our commission checks sorted with Wolf...
me too, Ive found space for one, last weekend I did try and make a intake silencer to fit at aldi 25l compressor, and it made it slightly quieter, but took slightly longer to fill the tank from empty, so after watching skotl's video on youtube it looks like I'll be ordering one next time on holiday from work (so I can have it delivered)
I got mine today, and just for comparison here is the wolf 3hp 90L compressor next to the Aldi 2.5hp 25L one

it wont quite fit under my workbench due to the height, but its easier to move about compared to the smaller compressor, so it looks like it'll end up being moved out of the way as necessary. I've already got a 16 amp socket and extension lead, (which I use with my TIG and MIG welders), so the supply isnt an issue as I won't be using the compressor and a welder at the same time.
I was also thinking of getting a Clarke Boxer 14/50p which looks to be effectively the same compressor as the wolf one, but with a smaller reservoir (50L instead of 90L), but couldn't justify the extra £75 (with a machine mart VAT free voucher)

Oops Must stop repeating myself!^^^^its your posting and video about them that persuaded me to get one
Compressor - yes, they are worth it.Are the 3hp wolf's any good? Is it worth the £250 odds or going for the same spec for twice the money? I've gout an old comp that refuses to give up the ghost. The makersplate is 1959!
It's not quite got a he cfm any longer and takes ages to fill it's tank.
As per my other post in a quandary I've about a grand to splurge on a new mig and compressor. The old cebora box clone has not died but burn back has become an issue could be tip related but git no spare. 0.8 tips so tried 0.6 and it jusT birds nested. Possibly a torch issue. I'll keep it as backup backup.

R-Tech!I think I've Decided on the 90l 3hp Wolf Dakota. I'll pair it with the current one that has a 200l receiver. That leaves £750ish for a mig and other gubbins.
So its will be an inverter MIG with Arc not worried about Tig, I''l get an AC/DC at a later date.
