Black Jack and flashing. With wet weather dry it out with compressed air and then a heat gun....that's what I did with conservatory roof lean-to joint after futile attempts with various 'super' pricey silicones. 5years no leaks. The house roof was replaced earlier this year .
Now my garage roof has started dripping .
It is attached to the side of the house
The toilet soil stack goes through the roof .
Leaking between the wall and the soil stack .
It is a felt roof .
Any recommendations for sealer .
I dont mind using a bit of heat .
Even a small amount of water from a burst pipe is bad...but dirty flood water must be totally soul destroying.North Wiltshire was hammered yesterday. Drove through Dauntsey last night and it's underwater. Christian Malford was flooded where it normally does.
Dozens of cars broke and its heartbreaking talking to the owners who's houses are flooded out.
I agree. I used to love being tucked up in a sleeping bag with the rain lashing down. As long as no-one decides to touch the canvas, that is.Rain on canvas, best thing ever
best with a fly sheet over the tent it stops it happeningI agree. I used to love being tucked up in a sleeping bag with the rain lashing down. As long as no-one decides to touch the canvas, that is.
True, but they weren't thought of when I was a scout
That must have been crazy hard rain. Love my biker, been using one for over 15yrs. They stand up to heavy rain and wind very well, so long as you guy them down correctly. I've seen plenty in the skip because they havent.I was camping at a place called Amber in France one year, near the Puy de Dom. It rained so hard one night that the rain was exceeding the Hydrostatic Head of the tent fabric and water was coming through the fabric in the form of a mist. Only lasted a short while and the tent never suffered from it again. The tent was a Kayam Biker. it never leaked again.
Bought my first tent in 56 and that had a flysheet and a sewn in groundsheet . Still got it .True, but they weren't thought of when I was a scout
There's a road in my town that floods literally every time we have a big rainstorm. It's been going on for years, lots of talk about sorting it, lots of organisations set up, lots of council surveys, even our MP has stood in it wearing wellies, any chance for a public photograph....North Wiltshire was hammered yesterday. Jesus, Plymouth what a place to get stuck, avoid the main drag. All train services north from Bristol were cancelled yesterday. I was at Plymouth and huge delays on Cornwall direction, too.
I only saw the station.Jesus, Plymouth what a place to get stuck, avoid the main drag.
