I dont know how i have got through life. I have only ever bought one news paper, being the Sun, well also The Sport but that dont count a sit wasnt for the news

, dont watch the news on TV. Dont watch crap on social media.

What's even more embarrassing about this is as i was in the shed today with talk TV on in the background and they were discussing the ruined trade for this coming summer at Blackpool with the "fire" :laughing:

. And people call me a tin hat wearer when i mention fake news, you could not make it up :laughing:

It rather depends on your tastes. I went to Blackpool about thirty years ago on the weekend of the switch on of the Blackpool illuminations. In addition I was, at the time a fairly keen ballroom dancer and spent Saturday evening in the tower ballroom. However I think, that for me the whole weekend was a fun weekend but I have no desire to return. Mind you I also spent the weekend in Beirut once and have no desire to return there either!

Best description of Blackpool i saw was in a spoof post card - the headline was “Blackpool - for those who think Rhyl is a bit too Lah de Dah”. :laughing:

I once took my niece visiting from Oz to Blackpool so that she could see the lights - I vowed NEVER to visit that home of tackiness again in my life. :vsad:
