Going back to when Bows and Arrows were on the secrets list,do we still bake and hold Electrodes,in ovens and put them into Quivers to take to the job or are Vac Pacs still the flavour of the month

If you must have full lo-hy performance, that has to depend on the scale and the economics.

Vac-paks are convenient and do have properly dry rods, however, they're a dear way to buy rods. Set against that the cost of a regime of ovens and someone to put the rods in and move them around and keep track of what's happening and you can see that might make sense for large users of lo-hys, but for others, vac-paks are easier and cheaper.

If the job demands Hydrogen less that 5mlsHDM its probably cheaper to use vac pacs and throw away any that are over exposed.
