If it were a Holbrook that'd be BSF... I may have the only slide hammer on earth with a 1/2" BSF end on it. Dedicated to the machine*
Dave H. (the other one)
*And the usual Holbrook Chinese puzzle, getting the QCGB apart when a bearing race is corroded onto the shaft by decades of rancid coolant leak into it... Ahhhse-biscuits

Angle grinder does most of the rough works. The rest is done with a flat and half round file. It's still in the rough stagesLovely job what did you use to get those lovely smooth curves?

All done with a basic grinder and a set of files. You did that with an angle grinder???
As to the filing unless you have something powered your arms must move like pistons
ive made a lot of stuff chain drilling grinding and filing .engine plates out of stainless speedo mounts etc even though I have machines to do most. its good practice hand finishing and can make a good accurate job I used to end up draw filing them then finishing with emery cloth and polishing don't suppose most will know what draw filing is now or why its doneAll done with a basic grinder and a set of files.
I dont mind doing it to be honest. It dont cost me anything to do by hand and like anything it's only hard work if you make it hardYou've got more time or patience than me, id have sent it over to the laser or plasma cutter
I commend your commitment
