I will give you the dimensions on the gears later today.First of all what a fantastic restoration. I haven’t been on this forum for a number of years apart from the occasional lurk when looking for answers. I have just purchased a mk1 Empire and most of it is still in the back of the van. It does need some work to get it up and running, what it doesn’t have is any change gears, I was thinking along the lines of using readily available gears and making them fit/work but I would really appreciate knowing what number teeth to start with. I’m not very likely to be cutting threads.
Thankyou. I will sort those dimensions out tomorrow.Just read through this whole thread, stunning work, just lovely
A man after my own heart
If I can achieve half as good a result I’ll be over the moon.
Thank you for documenting and sharing
