id rather go through the side than the roof as the roof gets the brunt of the weather
That's the dilemma. It's an 8' wide roof, curved so not MUCH runoff, but with the weather we're getting...
But what I'm NOT hearing is "Don't do it. It will leak like a sieve......".
So, I think I'll go straight up, and tiger seal the silicone/EDPM flashing in. I'll tap the tin up in a lip, so anything that gets past the seal will not get in.
