Ordered the RS ones last week knowing they were on back order to about late April, the check my order link was not working so called them just now, nice lady said would you like them delivered from our Corby or Nuneaton warehouse as they have stock! Errr no just send them on the never never - of course yes please, be with you tomorrow then - bizarre..Thanks for that! They are the best ones I ever had and lost them many years ago - On order- Out of stock till next month

I've had various wire strippers over the years, never got on with them.
Yeah, they're ok.
Honestly, I go for a Stanley knife, well it's a Fat Max, knife thingy.
Does all sizes from tiny to 50mm and the rest.
I've got some decent / half decent ones, but haven't used them in years.

I have an END FEED Facom set of cable strippers for small cables and just use side cutters for everything else (larger).

I only learnt that relatively recently.

Not sure but it intested me - did not know that.
Sadly everything in Europe is always post war these days (or gonna be soon)!
The RS pistol strippers arrived this morning as the nice lady said, they are nice kit as I remembered.
They came from RS Nuneaton trade counter, so I guess they don't count that as online warehouse stock???
I never knew they had trade counters TBH, there are 16 dotted around but my nearest is 30miles away in Watford
