So far our nearly year old cat has put his two front paws over the back door threshold then ran back indoors to safety when a tarp blew in the wind.
My daughter is trying to take him out in a harness on a lead.

Our female tabby would happily never go outside, unless during summer when we're outside on the patio when she'll potter about with us.

I have some really sad news about Wayne.
He had to go back to the National Animal Welfare Trust as they found out his mother has FIV and when tested so did he. That would mean keeping him separate from our old cat and keeping him indoors, that's almost impossible.
They have messed up very badly as he should never have been released for adoption before being tested. They blame staff shortages.
We wouldn't have chosen him if we knew he would need keeping in and separate from other cats.
He is a beautiful little cat and he was my recovery buddy after my knee replacement, he'd sleep on my chest for hours. He was really well litter trained and very friendly.
We are all absolutely gutted.
I've cried my eyes out (big softy)
I feel sorry for him as he was in a foster home before us and was really settling in and part of our family, now he's back in a cattery probably on his own and scared.
Angry is not the right word for how I feel now.
