Hmm. BiL has got a "feral" cat at his yard too. It keeps its distance except when he feeds it. It talks to me though, for some reason. It has been around for a couple of years. He has got an old armchair in a shed that it sometimes sleeps on, along with a derelict land Rover.Been feeding it for about a year - he was not on his second set of teeth - when he first rocked up in the yard - so guess he is about a 18 months old now.
I have wormed him about every three months. As he looked so thin - he now seems to have put some weight on and kept it on. He also spends less time with his head up his bottom (always a sign an animal has worms).
Must be a big armchair that fits a cat and a landrover! He has got an old armchair in a shed that it sometimes sleeps on, along with a derelict land Rover.

A while ago SWMBO was talking to a near neighbour and mentioned it. Turns out it goes to a couple of other places to be fed , and has places to sleep there too. She doesn't have the heart to tell him
Well done to you.Would please me if this "ginger feral cat" could find a forever home.
It a boy and I got two aging girl cats at home 12/14 ish (both out of my workshop yard). So he may not fit into the dynamic at my household.
Both these girl stray cats had airgun pellets in them - cost me vets bills.
It was like a feline war zone about near my yard - cats with pellets in them. But whoever was doin it - has stopped.
Honestly for a few months - my workshop was like a field hospital for cats with airgun pellets in them....
----------
It took printing a load of A4 black and white flyers with pictures of cats with festering wounds and a summers evening and me and few of the bigger younger lads off the trading estate to go door knocking - handing the flyers out - down all the back streets and terraced houses near our yard.
When yer ready fellas...
You no doubt put the shxxs up the little prick doing it. A good job done mateWould please me if this "ginger feral cat" could find a forever home.
