Ok just sprayed the car with the barcoat and i think it came out quite well. Im not sure if I got a good enough covering though. I know it should just be a light coat as its just to seal it but I think you can see the grey primer through it in places ever so slightly.
1. Will I need to go over it again?
I actually gave the whole thing two passes with the one cup full of paint. Im trying to upload pics just now.
2. The finish on the roof seems very rough compared to say the doors. Would this be because I have painted over overspray? Will it be ok to paint the high build over that and sand it down? I dont want to touch the barcoat to be honest since its not supposed to be flatted etc
EDIT: Idid some searching and I think its what they call dry spray, from not holding it at 90 degrees The roof is pretty awkward so it makes sense. How do i rectify this? Or as above. Can I just spray the high build over it?
3. Can I use tack rags to clean the car again as theres fibres collected after drying on some panels. I know that if you try and clean primer with a cloth it will pull fibres from the cloth as its not flatted yet so Im wondering if the tack rag will do this too.
