Maybe a function of oilfree pumpsI wonder if they have been over cautious, every other comp seems to have a min of 60% effeciency, this being 35% ?

Makes you wonder what 4.4 FAD COULD actually run lol
I have someone buying it off me for what I paid. Think will go for a SGS 14cfm.
I've just bought a compact, silenced compressor from them Think mine is supposedly rated around 7. Should be here Monday. It'll only be used for odds & sods, so I don't need a large unit, & hopefully it'll fit nicely under the bench. This is the one I've ordered:
That might do for me - I just need something for tyre inflation (bikes and cars, not trucks!) and cleaning mowers
Thanks for the heads up, soooo many compressor brands out there it's unbelievable. Any recommendations appreciated, remember I only need it for spraying, will never be used for anything else.SGS don't have much of a reputation for customer service when things go wrong. I had to invoke a Section 75 claim against them. There will be other sellers of the same beast with different paint, including Machine Mart. Have a look around.
Problem with MM is they can't ship to Northern Ireland, I spoke to them yesterday. BREXIT!!!!Thanks for the heads up, soooo many compressor brands out there it's unbelievable. Any recommendations appreciated, remember I only need it for spraying, will never be used for anything else.
Of course they can, but they prefer not to for reasons best known to themselves.Problem with MM is they can't ship to Northern Ireland, I spoke to them yesterday. BREXIT!!!!

As the motor will be fairly high current is better to use a longer hose rather than use an extension lead,I assume an extension lead is not acceptable so I suppose it's a longer hose?
