i just shut mine off at the water seperator when done and the air in the pot just peters out along with the supply of media to the jet whats the other one your shutting off ???

add a TEE fitting just after the main valve, valve on bottom of tee, dumps to ground (add a muffler to keep noise down, and stuff from blowing around)

just use the red handled
ball valve to turn on and off .the yellow handle one is left open all the time and only turned off and on again if theres a blockage

verry little just turn it off a few seconds before your finished and it expires

built both of mine over 40 years ago and another couple besides that i sold there copied of a hodge clemco mini pot apart from the filler neck and top

dont put any valve in the blast hose it needs to be direct from the mixing valve to the jet otherwise you will get blockages and the media will back up and is a pig to clear

in a nutshell no dont even try
even the bought ones do it one of mine has the 3mm jet and the other a 6.0mm jet and uses a 90cfm road comp to run it

if you realy want to stop it doing it you have to shut the regulating valve off to stop the sand then shut down the air supply .when starting up again turn on air supply and re regulate the sand .its a fanny on but doable

IIRC the commercial set-up uses a pinch hose on the remote control system.
