Best piece a kit I ever bought for rust and the sand does not go everywhere as per normal sandblasting but still you need a protective mask and goggles.
And wet weather gear! Last time I used mine was on some alloy inlet manifolds and the finish was excellent.
I like this idea did you make it yourself ?

does the jet washer thingy work faultlessly ...i kinda imagined they would clog easy what with water and sand

cold water washers arent much cop on cleaning traffic film of cars just mud . hot water washers using traffic film remover are good but it strips the polish of your car .sand lances on a power washer are the next best thing to compressed air blasting but are slower and prone to blockages now and thenI do like your home made job not got a pressure washer yet and have being thinking about it as my back is bad and would make cleaning the car easy. so how much would the hole set up cost ? how much bar does it kick out as do not want to buy a duff washer ..

Now you're asking something, the pressure washer is nigh on 9/10 years? old from Aldi and I would have to dig out the user manual for its specs? I do know the motor is an induction motor at a rating of 2Kw and I would not touch a pressure washer thats got a brush type motor as they do not last very long.
This one has been really hammered on paving,brickwork,paintwork...really has been through the mill in terms of constant use, bargain at the time of £80
I will see if the manual is still about

How do they come up with these silly prices for a component that probably cost £12 in materials.
As Chunkolini states, they should come out dull grey, Marlinspike's must have been too weak a solution.
