Citroen PC software

This is basically a 2 part question.
The problem I have is I bought an android radio for the Berlingo van, it is excellent with the exception it has changed the speedo display to km, see pic.

If I plug the standard radio back in it changes back to miles as per pic below.

I got an update from the Chinese but all it did was add an option in the settings for MPG but clicking it does nothing and it stays at km and l/100km and speedo display stays at km.

It is not a big deal apart from when I need a service or when the MOT is due as they will record the mileage as the displayed km and that is not something I want

So on to the question.
1. would the Citroen diagnostic software allow me to change it so that it sets to miles/mpg etc and it will stay that way even with the Android plugged in.

2. Anyone know of a cheap software and connector for doing this?

Is there simply a setting either in the radio or the car that flips metric to english?

I thought you could change Km to miles by using the buttons on the stalks/dash.

But will have to remember how

Yes, it can be done on the old radio, go into the menu and choose your units but this Android doesn't have that option

I think I have seen that before but it is for a different radio, will have a look though to make sure.

Aye, that is a different radio and I couldn't find any info but maybe I should search again.

Yes, but no head unit now to be able to change it, the Android must be set for km and no options to change sadly.

I would say so!

Not sure if OEM diagnostics would fix the problem or not tbh

I can only see it working with the software if there was a way for it to be forced and to override what the radio was telling the van, probably not likely

I keep meaning to plug the old one back in and change it to km in the forlorn hope that it confuses the Android and it sets it to miles, not very likely but I will try it one day

They work, what I was meaning was I just tried the Launcher APK and it gives a blank home page when I install it on the radio.
Luckily I chose the only once option when it asked which launcher I wanted so when I pressed home again I was able to use the original launcher file in the radio and get back to my usual home page.
