Aye, I am 99.99% sure it is, the only other thing I was thinking it may be was the canbus adapter but I think that unlikely.@Hood I would say it's definitely to do with the programming of the Android headunit
i have a peugeot partner and it went funny to kph. must have pressed something accidental a bit of fiddling around and i got it back cant remember what i pressesI thought you could change Km to miles by using the buttons on the stalks/dash.
But will have to remember how
The difference is yours probably a real deal & not a Chinese clone!i have a peugeot partner and it went funny to kph. must have pressed something accidental a bit of fiddling around and i got it back cant remember what i presses
Aye true enough but at least it works.@Hood If you think the aftermarket one is expensive, I would dread to think how much the genuine one is!
ohh riteThe difference is yours probably a real deal & not a Chinese clone!
With the standard head unit I can easily change back and forth.i have a peugeot partner and it went funny to kph. must have pressed something accidental a bit of fiddling around and i got it back cant remember what i presses
@Hood I'm not clear on what you tried and what did or didn't work.
Did you:
BTW: Watch this the video below to understand launchers (not exactly sure why launchers are being discussed as the KPH to MPH process involves an APK (Android package application) to alter the programming).
- Get the APK file from the video (download it). https://www.mediafire.com/file/jx9ezrei8pggcfo/Launcher.apk/file (the two different videos have different links to mediafire but I downloaded both and they have the same checksum so they are the same).
- Copy it on to a USB pen drive.
- Plug the USB into the device.
- Using the android file explorer navigate/browse to the USB drive; copy the APK file; navigate to device's internal storage folder; paste the file.
- Open the file and when prompted choose to install it.
- Return to the home screen and checked it now shows miles.
EDIT: I'm not saying the above steps will work, just writing them out to see if this is what you have done.
