Think il nab a 20k spindle and a board I came across
Powered the spindle direct from PSU while retaining speed control.

My free time is limited. Gotta push on.

Only stuffed up the first attempt. Still not sure what happened. Started cutting too deep then failed to retract the tool when it moved to next node.

Confident to start a program running and walk away now.

New spindle be here tomorrow along with a z probe.

Either need to add a spindle speed ramp up to my code or find a board that will power direct from PSU and take control from the driver board.

Decent performance increase but also a noise penalty.

Picking up some bits for an enclosure Tomorrow.
Between the rails and the spindle aluminium is more promising. Still won't be a quick job though.

Will chomp through wood at a decent lick now.

Amazon mate. Came with the er11 fitted. Same for the probe.
