Any recommendations for coating concrete floor ,100ish sq meters of garage floor. Very dusty naturally, looking cost effective solution.

Polyurethane floor paint, follow the instructions
even waterproof PVA ?+1 on sbr. Cheap as chips from SF/TS.
Never ever use pva though. If pva gets water on it it'll get wet / slimy again. Even worse if you use pva under tiles, if water gets under the tiles the pva can "re wet" and the tiles lift!
watered down 50 percent will give you 2 gallons and go one hell of a way depends on how porous the concrete isok i have been through 6 sellers on the ebay and non say the coverage yet, is it a bloody secret or something.

its used on tanking damp walls with slurryThat's different...and a LOT more expensive than sbr.
Sbr is good stuff. I noted on the instructions for my bathroom tanking kit it said you could use it if you run out of the specific primer that comes with the kit.

that long ago cant remember the cost but i think maybe about £15 5l tub, it was black tubs though. Used it a few years ago for plastering aswell, but thats a dry area, either way if i cant find the 10l i have SBR isnt dear.I bet it was cheaper then! Used to be the red tub was the normal and black was waterproof...
What sort of mix or ratio of water would be best, 1:1, 2:1,? I'd say a 5 litre container even mixed at 1:1 giving 10 litres would cover my whole area?if u want cheap and tough without color sbr bonding agent .one coat watered down and put on with a sweeping brush will seal it. you can coat over with concrete paint if u want
