I'll back it up with the experience I have of Dirty Pro - my uncle bought a 6" bench grinder and a bench top drill press. Both are, in my professional opinion, "rubbish". The grinder doesn't have the power to grind - barely enough to sand, and the stones aren't even slightly balanced. It's not even good enough for DIY use. The drill press is flimsy and likewise powerless, although I suppose you could drill 6mm holes in steel with it.

Based on this, I would also expect anything else badged Dirty Pro to be similar "rubbish".

Is that good enough or do I have to make my uncle buy the compressor too?

the safety valve is on there just cant see in the picture, so i got a circlip to fix it underneath amd some how managed to snap the end off it so now need a new one ,, i done a search but cant find any, so anyone know what the proper name is for it thanks

Dirty Pro are a Derbyshire retailer just rebadging generic items in their brand, cheap and often always Chinese rubbish.

I spent £95 on a Dirty Pro and it weren't AC/DC....

hi all well not been doing much sie to ill heath but managed to get back onto the sip compressor, now ot was ok when i last used it but has now started playing up , it builds pressure up to around 50psi then just slows right down almost to it stopping and makes a really loud squealing noise and oil is blown out off the dipstick , i took the main intake pipe off to see of maybe was blocked or something and away it went running fine and oil stopped but the minute i connect the pipe again it just slows down again , so looking for bit more help

sounds like a one way valve between the compressor and the tank is defective allowing tank pressure back to the top of the piston pressurising the crankcase and stalling the compressor,

Yes that’s it. With no pressure in the receiver remove the nut on the left hand side. There should be a spring and a valve inside. Check for damage or any loose debris

Had the same issue with mine, all the parts looked OK but still leaked under pressure. I got one of these

The fittings were different threads and different orientation from the original (it was 30 years old TBF), so it needed a few adaptors and elbows and a bit of bod ingenuity, but it's been working fine since.

the one i had was the same and letting air past the rubber seal as it was slightly worn like yours . i just rubbed it flat on a bit of emery cloth and it stopped leaking past it

i did rub it flat but still did the same thing so not sure if spring is worn out so once find new one il get it changed and hopefully will sort it out

so finally found the valve which apparently is 1" x 3/4 and comes in with postage £62 which i think is a tad expensive, so now looking for a way round maybe fitting a smaller size can i reduce the 1" so can fit one off the standard size valves like was suggested a few msgs back

This will be a bsp threaded valve for the receiver side at least and you could possibly fit a reducing bush to use a more common size. Measure the male thread and check first. Bsp thread dimensions are a little different to metric, with metric m12 the thread measures 12mm with 3/4” bsp the thread measures 1.041” or 26.44mm

Machine mart list a 3/4” non return valve 3/4” valve but they don’t give an indication as to the other pipe sizes

On mine the inlet and outlet were the same size, inlet was male, outlet was female, unloader connection was 6mm compression. Compressor came with ¼" copper tubing which wouldn't quite fit, so I had to buy some 6mm and a flaring tool for the other end.
