All my stuff (zoro as well) turned up today. Was actually quite impressed with the keyless chuck. Got two of them with appropriate shanks one for the L5 one for the drill press.
The chuck weighs a lot more that my equivalent Jacobs and seems really well made - and at last a chuck on an MT3 so no more faffing about with adaptors

Well impressed with the chuck myself. In fact, so impressed I have just ordered another 2, this time from Zoro though as it works out even cheaper with the discount code
£29.73 for 2 chucks and 1x 4MT-6JT arbour

1/2" and 2TPI will be exactly that. Outer diameter of the thread is 1/2" and there are 2 threads per inch.
I suspect however that it is not 2TPI as that would be a very course thread, especially on such a small diameter. I would expect maybe 1/2"-12tpi which is a standard Whitworth.

Well I eventually tracked mine down to a post office in a local library in the next town! Everything there and all looks good. A shame the 3/8 impact sockets don't clip into the box as I can see me picking it up a distributing them all over the garage floor.

Well it is nice of us to help them out then.They must have a surplus of the 16mm chucks or something, the 0.5-10mm ones are 3 times the price

Years ago, I was in the scrapyard, in Elgin, there were a couple of 40 gallon drums, with the tops cut off. They were filled with rusty drill bits. I asked about them and the guy,said that they came from the factory, in Peterhead and the factory filled the drums with seawater, before scrapping them.
Did think it was a long way from Peterhead, but know now, that the same family own scrapyards in several locations, and shift different metals, between different yards.
I looked at that but it seems to be around £50 elsewhere too. Maybe not such a bargain?If i applied the wife's logic then i would get that 4 mag major stand. I have absolutely no need for it, but it looks like such a bargain
Just had email regarding missing drill set from my order - they are refunding as out of stock - closely followed by second email that they have found more stock and dispatching tonight as well as the refund as a good will gesture for the inconvenience caused. nice bit of good old fashioned customer service.
