Not sure, will have to see how it goes.if they work would you consider selling them

That is actually slowed down from the speed it comes from Chiron, the previous owner had damped the cylinders and I just kept it the same as I am in no hurryWow that tool changer is fast, compared to a carousel changer. Never seen one in use before. Looks an interesting build.
That looks like an interesting design, you can adjust the angle of the tungsten?

, they did have fragile spindles, that seemed prone to damage for no apparent reason. After 2 years, some re-designing and updates by Chiron, the machines preformed well.
I am wondering if this could produce the two stage angles Richard uses. I know hudmut version was single cut but it looks like this one could grind the shallow angle first but then adjusted to grind the more acute tip angle? That's a lovely design for a grinder there, very inventive. Infinite adjustment on the angles.
I have a hudmut one which is a similar design but fixed to the 4 or 5 different angles

Nice to see a new idea Iv got something similar to your over head arm all done in soildworks all so Iv added a detent in there for a bit of repeatability. One thing I did learn from my grinder is the dust in threads is a killer and the finer the worse it gets for gargling that's why I did a slid fit on the to half's over a thread. Im not picking faults just helping with what I learnt as for drilling the bolts for guides on to fit all sizes tungsten's there is a lot to take in to account if you start making these for resale.
On another note I see your using a CS-labs controller in you machine there a good system I got one of them cheap pendants of ebay and added the module my self saved me £250.
My new mill showed up last week with a 4th axis so Ill be making more grinders to soon and may be the new one ill share it with you.
And Iv just spotted your user name out paths have crossed before you have been very help full with me in the past with Mach3. Once more thank you on that subject.
What's a hand held pendant?I am unlikely to sell them as I have plenty of other work and often turn down production work as it numbs my head
Thought about the dust, it is a 2mm pitch so hopefully course enough. I was thinking about adding detents but will wait until I have used it to see, fisrtly whether it is any use and secondly which positions I use.
I have used the CSMIO's for years, best controllers I have used with Mach. On the Chiron and the wee lathe I just had the MPG and switches on the panel itself so no handheld required. On the plasma I made my own hand held pendant.
