That’s the answer, it’s not a cave it’s the beer cellar.Yep. It's a disc. Really it's just an oversized beer mat.

I remain a sceptic on us squashy organic air-breathers ever getting (or having got to) the moon tbh.
The intense radiation & all the other challenges of transporting people & materials 250k miles intact & alive to the moon (let alone a big lump like the Lunar Rover half-a-century hence) make it all a rather unlikely & illogical thing to believe in.
(That there is a 100m deep cave there though is intriguing as to just how it was formed).

I'm not sure of your point Gaz. Are you thinking of towing a caravan to the moon?since the above can be well used we can also look at expanding the size of it in width
so based on a container on a wagon we now have expandable length with storage lets add expandable sides to it
Or how about just shooting the manhole up...Just need to carry up enough material to make a manhole cover for the entrance....
why tow when you can send a container to the moon that is already built and all thats needed is for it to be extendedI'm not sure of your point Gaz. Are you thinking of towing a caravan to the moon?
the mainpoint with expandables is the sealing of the joint
lets go down the expandable route the same with expandable walkways in space lets use it with storage
with the above reference used we can expand in length rather well but we need support under the structure thats where the light guage steel comes into reference
sealed sleeping quarters
as below shows legs can be used instead of beams in light guage steel
All a bit fanciful. So there's a hole in the ground, still be a few thousand tons+of building material and tens of thousands of man hours to put together anything that would resemble a habitable building up there. First things needed up there will be a Travel lodge and a Travis Perkins
Bob
yeah right and how are you going to mix it while in space to print itSimple, 3D print everything using the lunar soil covering the Moon regolith...
Jeff Bezos is your man, he even had a rocket! Amazon Prime ++, dont know how much the annual subscription is though?yeah right and how are you going to mix it while in space to print it
materials still need to be transported and anything liquid based is heavy
The hatch COVERS were a silicon compound. The actual hatches were aluminium.the hatch doors on the space shuttle is based on a rubber or something the same can be said with a space station to seal the hatch doors
submarine hatches also use a seal but dont know what that isThe hatch COVERS were a silicon compound. The actual hatches were aluminium.
Would be one hell of a tailback...I'm not sure of your point Gaz. Are you thinking of towing a caravan to the moon?
I congratulate you on your confidence and strength of belief. I am less enamoured with your manner which indicates that questioning something you accept - means that individual has to be a dim-witted lunatic, lacking the smarts you possess, and is to be mocked. That is an extraordinary view, though I happen to know exactly where you got the idea about excessive radiation meaning the moon landing was a scam. Perhaps you are joking?
Now I am really not sure if you are joking...
The Apollo moon landings were the very pinnacle of human achievement and yes, they did have to overcome a number of very difficult environmental challenges. I won't be debating the veracity of the event, that would be beneath my dignity to entertain as would be any flat earth nonsense. You'll just have to work it out for yourself.
