I’ve always had hitachi, not cheap but of the few problems, they have always fixed it no questions asked, even supplied parts foc when I was years out of warrant.
interestingly my friend is rep for power tools here in NZ , ryobi, Mikita, Milwauke, AEG and Hilti are all the same company. I have a 10.8v Mikita drill and impact wrench and they have the same parts as the Milwaukee 12v ones.
More often than not the attitude of the reseller to problems is the biggest factor to customer service.
