I never had much luck with the digital display. Mine also came with a rotary knob - much easier.
Bleeding the fuel line is a pain. Filter needs to be the right way up - mine is on it's side seems to work better that way.
Run it flat out and it doesn't coke up. I use kerosene which is even cleaner.
Ours runs 12hrs a day 5 days a week. Been going strong for about a year now.
They draw a big current on start up. Melted several connectors so I soldered direct to the PSU leads.

It was me that first came across those cheap Chinese power supplies I think.
Ours works fine but the cooling fan is very noisy. Try to get one without a fan if possible. Sometimes I have to take it apart and spray WD40 on it but the thing was noisy from the start. Too small a diameter running at high speed.

It is a basic single garage 6m x 3m with pent roof and several windows - in the process of being expanded to around 18m x 3m ventilation can be added on the extention if reqired usual roller shutter door, plus pedestrian door and the extension will add another of each.

They are actually 4kw - not the 5kw or 8kw claimed. Still brilliant and great value though!
For a garage I would use one of these unless you are paint spraying or something - it has a naked flame inside.

Silent running - loads of heat and very cheap to run on normal kerosene.
And you just plug it in like a fan heater - uses about 20w of electric.
Been using our 4.6kw model for over a year and it is brilliant.

All posted Sammy you should get it tomorrow or Saturday at the latest. Father said while your waiting for it to arrive grab yourself a 12mm box spanner and make a 4mm wide cut down the side 30mm long
else you will have the same problem getting the glow plug in if its the same setup as the eberspatcher ones. Tool station do a hole set for less than a tenner.
Oh and the little black thing
also in the package is for removing the mesh screen should your have it in your and need to remove it to clean it. Father has a few spare ones so he said chuck it in.

well yes, and no.
the naked flame is in a sealed burn chamber which is vented outside. the heated air is passed over the burn chamber, it works like a fan assisted central heating radiator.
there is zero chance of it igniting spray mist. there's just no way the mist can get at the flame.
in-fact i once deliberately sprayed a spray gun straight at a gas heater(so straight at a naked flame) , it didn't ignite...
