I have a pair of these of these. They were sold in the Landrover scene many years ago as 'Tirepliers', made by an Australian company. I can't remember which company was importing them. Anyway, I have to say they have been brilliant, seen a lot of use and still in great shape.I just put bead breaker into google looking for a pic of the scissor type thing and there is a poshed up version, it's a youtube link.
I've done lorry tyres, but not done in situone wheel not ten used to be done on side of motorway surer single done in situ
I have used a pair of those, back in the eighties, in my mates, Dad's "workshop" opposite the scrap yards, those were the days
I got one of these on Vevor and with a pump I think it was about £200. There is a knack to using them but even on a rusty tractor rim where the tyre has been there for probably 40 years it just broke the bead with no fuss at all.Tractor and heavy plant tyres either fall off or put up a proper fight, I threw the towel in and bought a hydraulic bead breaker the same as the Ag tyre fitters use. Never fails
