You can use supermarket olive oil. Use in moderation - see videoIs supermarket olive oil ok. Internet says use medical grade. Specsavers say syringing can coz infections and make it worse. They say never use the ear buds as your pushing it on in and some say olive oil softens it but let's it get stuck on in better.
Everyone has different opinions.
Any risk of damaging your ear drum squirting water at it.

Marmite and peanut butter are great on toastTry Vegemite instead.
I'm not Australian.Try Vegemite instead.
65 quid. I need my right one done every 3 months.Specsavers do the syringing now apparently, no idea of the cost though.
Where are you located. Bet you say Scotland...I use Otex, both the olive oil and the hydrogen peroxide. You pay over the odds for the oil but it's in a small bottle and has a dropper to get in down the canal tidily. The oil softens the wax and the peroxide deals with the dried on stuff, with an odd crackling noise.
And I can have my ears syringed up here FOC by the NHS, so ner.
Haha, brake cleaner will shift it.Does everyone not just use a spray of engine degreaser and a blow out with the airline?
It definitely makes good hand cleanerHaha, brake cleaner will shift it.
Pretty sure the warnings say don't use this sort of thing if you have tinitusI use Otex,
